"The Coakleys brought me two pieces of black marble and asked me to incorporate them into a design for a signature piece for their new real estate office. The trestle table style engineering and shield shaped cut outs were inspired by Sandy Coakley's proudly displayed family crest. I inlaid the marble into the top so that it would be a focus of the design."
